Biography
Slovak-born spinto soprano Tamara Morozová is a graduate of the Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Prague and laureate of the Antonín Dvořák International Singing Competition in 2021, where she received the Audience Jury Prize and the special prize of the National Theatre in Prague. She made her professional debut on the stage of the National Theatre in Prague in 2022, performing the double role of Margaret and Shadow in Erwin Schulhoff's "Flammen", directed by renowned Calixto Bieito. Her repertoire includes among others Ariadne (Strauss - Ariadne auf Naxos), Agathe (Weber - Der Freischütz), Tatyana (Tchaikowky - Eugene Onegin), The Foreign Princess (Dvořák - Rusalka), and The First Lady (Mozart - Die Zauberflöte). Anticipated for 2025 is her debut as Senta on the stage of State Op
