Biography
Taras Semenov , born in Ukraine in 1995, is an up-and-coming tenor. Taras Semenov has distinguished himself in a wide range of productions, most recently with performances as Lensky in P. Tchaikovsky's "Eugene Onegin" and as Don Ottavio in W. A. Mozart's "Don Giovanni". Semenov is open to different styles - even in 2023 he took part in two world premieres: Mauser: Tryptichon at Mecklenburgisches Staatstheater and "Gegen den Wind" at Kunst am Kai e. V. (Lübeck). His own conceptual works, such as "Dichter.Liebe" and the Liederabend-Requiem "Lieder von der Ewigkeit", reflect his love of art song. He has been studying with Espen Fegran since 2019 and with Prof. Thomas Mohr at the University of the Arts Bremen since 2020. His pursuit of artistic perfection has led him to attend masterclasses
