Toomas Kaldaru

Pianist and vocal coach Toomas Kaldaru received his Maestro sostituto e Korrepetitor (Collaborative Piano and Opera Coaching) master's degree cum laude at Santa Cecilia Conservatory of Rome. He also studied musical direction with Tiziana Carlini and Erik Eriksen. After graduating from the Estonian Academy of Music and Theater in 2001, he moved to Italy, where he studied opera singing at the Conservatory of Rome and took private lessons with soprano Adriana Giunta. He also studied at the Scuola di Musica di Fiesole and Accademia Filarmonica Romana. From 2001 to 2004, he studied Italian language and literature at Perugia’s Università per Stranieri and at Roma Tre University in Rome.
