Vlad Ratiu

Vlad Rațiu began studying music at the age of 15, in his home town Cluj-Napoca, in Romania. Currently after finishing his bachelor studies under professor Ștefan Thomasz at the National University of Music in Bucharest, he is following a master’s degree program at the „Prins Claus Conservatorium” in Groningen, Netherlands, with profesor Sorin Orcinschi. Vlad received masterclasses from Wynton Marsalis, Michael Sanderling, Lothar Zagrosek, Cristian Măcelaru, Cristian Mandeal, Vladimir Jurowsky, Sorin Orcinschi, Ștefan Thomasz, Dorin Marc, Cătalin Rotaru, Petru Iuga, Kostyak Botond, Cristian Braica, Gunars Upatnieks and many more.
