Yenny Yeeun Lee

Mezzo-soprano Yeeun (Yenny) Lee studied at the University of British Columbia under the direction of Dale Throness and director Nancy Hermiston. She performed in various operas including Hermia from A Midsummernight’s Dream, Olga from Eugene Onegin, Dritte Dame from Die Zauberflöte, and also performed mezzo soloist in Bach Mess in G minor and St. John Passion with UBC Symphony Orchestra. With the enthusiasm and talent for music she won several awards from prestigious competitions including the Vancouver Women’s Musical Society Art Song Competition, first place in the Vancouver International Music Competition, Belvedere International competition regional winner and the Encouragement awards in the Metropolitan Opera National Council Audition Western Canada district..
