Greensboro-based tenor Zachary Taylor is a recent graduate of UNC Greensboro, having received his M.M. in Spring 2023. He graduated summa cum laude from Towson University in Fall 2020 with his B.M. Zachary is a 2023 Jan Miller Studio Artist with Pensacola, and he was a 2023 Apprentice Artist with Des Moines Metro Opera. Recent engagements include Don José in Carmen with Music on Site in Wichita, KS; Ferrando in Così fan tutte and Vašek in The Bartered Bride with UNCG Opera Theatre; and Die sieben Todsünden with the Charlotte Symphony. Zachary also sung as a part of the Aquilon Music Festival in 2022 and won a District Encouragement Award from the 2023 Metropolitan Opera Laffont Competition.
