The ductility of his timbre, his mastery of nuances and his infinite musicality allow him to sweep a wide spectrum of the lyrical repertoire ranging from Baroque to contemporary music through the classical period or French comic operas. He discovered singing during his childhood in the hourly classes arranged by the Maîtrise de Caen (directed by Robert Weddle). A few years later, he entered the CNSM (Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique) in Paris as a tenor in the class of Alain Buet, then joined the prestigious Atelier Lyrique of the Paris Opera, which gave him his first opportunities to perform in stage.
