Biography
Der chilenische Tenor Francisco Huerta absolvierte 2019 seinen Bachelor in Gesang an der Universität von Santiago de Chile und trat in seinem Heimatland mit kammermusikalischem und sinfonischem Repertoire und Uraufführungen chilenischer Komponisten auf. 2015 gab er sein Solistendebüt in Gounods »Roméo et Juliette« (Benvolio) beim Castleton Festival (USA) sowie in Rossinis »Il turco in Italia« (Albazar) am Stadttheater von Santiago. Hier sang Francisco Huerta außerdem in Verdis »La traviata« (Gastone), Mozarts »Le nozze di Figaro« (Don Basilio), »Lady Macbeth von Mzensk« (Dritter Arbeiter), in der Uraufführung »El Cristo de Elqui« (Lázaro Pizarro) und im »Rosenkavalier« (Valzacchi) von Strauss. Des Weiteren war er mit freien Operncompagnien in Bizets »Carmen«(Dancaïro), Humperdincks »Hänsel
