Leipzig, GermanyFranz Xaver Schlecht comes from Oberspeiching and was a member of the Bavarian Singing Academy before starting his vocal studies with Jan Hammar at the Nuremberg University of Music in Augsburg in 2003. He continued his vocal training in the singing class of Prof. Hans-Joachim Beyer at the University of Music and Theater Leipzig, where he graduated in 2009 with a diploma. He then completed postgraduate studies with Prof. Leandra Overmann at the University of Music in Würzburg. Franz Xaver Schlecht received important impulses from master classes with Simon Estes and Ks. Franz Grundheber, since 2010 the young baritone has been supervised by Maria Janina Hake in Munich. During his studies, Franz Xaver Schlecht made his debut as Haly in Rossini's L'italiana in Algeri at the Augsburg and In
