View cast and crewCritically-acclaimed singer, Gregorio González, began his operatic career in 2002 after being hired as a resident artist by Placido Domingo at the Los Angeles Opera. Since then, Gregorio has sung extensively throughout the United States, his native Mexico and Europe. At the Los Angeles Opera Gregorio created the roles of Count Obolenski and Avdeev in the world premiere of Nicholas and Alexandra, under Mstislav Rostropovich. He has sung there in more than a dozen productions including La bohème, Carmen, Romeo et Juliette, Il barbiere di Siviglia, La fanciulla del West, Madama Butterfly, and Le nozze di Figaro.
