The choreographer Ambra Senatore and the conductor Jérôme Correas talk to us about "Café Libertà", their new show which will be created in March 2023. En 2001, Jérôme Correas fonde Les Paladins, ensemble instrumental avec lequel il explore les répertoires dramatiques des XVIIe et XVIIIe siècles. 
Passionné par la scène, il entreprend dès lors une recherche sur la théâtralité de la voix et l'expressivité des instruments, dans le répertoire lyrique comme dans la musique religieuse.

Les Paladins collaborent ainsi avec des metteurs en scène venant d’horizons artistiques divers (théâtre, vidéo, marionnette, danse, cirque). Ils se produisent dans des effectifs à géométrie variable allant du quatuor à l’orchestre mozartien, en France et à l’étranger. Ils enregistrent avec Arion, Pan Classics, Ambronay Editions, Naïve, Cyprès Records, Alpha Classics et  B Records.
Les Paladins s’impliquent également dans la médiation culturelle et la formation professionnelle de jeunes chanteurs et instrumentistes.

‎On the occasion of the creation of ORFEO 5063, the team of the Théâtre de St-Quentin-en-Yvelines met the musical director of the Paladins, Jérôme Correas, and the visual artist and videographer, Guillaume Marmin. The opportunity to let them tell us the genesis of this hybrid and immersive production in the world of Monteverdi. Performances on January 7 & 8, 2022 at the Théâtre de St-Quentin-en-Yvelines, on January 15, 2022 at the Théâtre de Corbeil-Essonnes and on February 16 at the Opéra de Massy.‎
