Luke Sinclair

Described as possessing a ‘Ringingly heroic tenor’ (Music and Vision Magazine) which is both ‘Masculine and musical’ (Opera Magazine), Luke was born in London and completed his studies at the Alexander Gibson Opera School at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Luke was a member of the Opera Studio at the Opéra National de Lyon in the 2017/18 season. He is currently a Solo Ensemble member at the Salzburg Landestheater. ​Recently Luke has appeared in the Title role in Faust, as Don José Carmen, Tamino Die Zauberflöte, Macduff Macbeth, Vaudémont in Tchaikovsky's Iolanta, Eisenstein Die Fledermaus and the Italian Tenor Der Rosenkavalier (Salzburg Landestheater and Salzburg's Felsenreitschule), Herodes Salome (Le Bâtiment des Forces motrices, Geneva), Duca Rigoletto, Le Prince Charmant Cendri
