This is a competition dedicated to the life and work of Richard Wagner, so it was a well-fitted chance for Margrethe to debut shortly before entering the competition as Elsa in Lohengrin at Theater Erfurt, February 2020. Unfortunately Covid 19 put a sudden end to her appearances in the role. It also thwarted her long awaited debut at the Royal Opera House. Margrethe was a permanent member of the solo ensemble at Theater Erfurt between 2015 - 2021.
