Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater is the oldest opera house in Ukraine!
Odessa National Academic Opera and Ballet Theater is one of the five most beautiful theaters in the world.
 

Forbes has included the Odessa Opera in the list of the most significant monuments of Eastern Europe.
 

The theater was built over three years (from 1884 to 1887) on the site of the First City Theater, which burned down in 1873. The project cost one and a half million gold rubles, the theater building was equipped with the latest technology.
 

This is the first opera house built in Ukraine.
 

Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater plays a significant role in the cultural life of Europe. It is here, for the first time in Ukraine, sounded such famous and popular operas as “The Barber of Seville” by G. Rossini, “Lucia di Lammermoor”, “Love Drink” by G. Donizetti , “Longing” by G. Puccini.
 

The theater’s repertoire includes more than 80 opera, ballet, children’s performances and concert programs. Odessa Opera House is one of the few theaters where organ music concerts take place.

Одеський національний академічний театр опери та балету — найстаріший оперний театр України!

Одеський національний академічний театр опери та балету входить до п’ятірки найкрасивіших театрів світу.
 

Видання «Forbes» включило Одеську оперу до списку найбільш визначних пам’яток Східної Європи.
 

Театр було побудовано протягом трьох років (з 1884 по 1887 рік) на місці Першого міського театру, який згорів у 1873 році. Реалізація проєкту обійшлася в півтора мільйона золотих рублів, будівлю театру оснастили за останнім словом техніки.
 

Це перший оперний театр, побудований в Україні.
 

Одеський театр опери та балету відіграє значну роль в культурному житті Європи.Саме тут, вперше на території України, прозвучали такі відомі й популярні опери, як «Севільській цирульник» Дж. Россіні, «Лючія ді Ламмермур», «Любовний напій» Г. Доніцетті, «Тоска» Дж. Пуччіні.
 

У репертуарі театру понад 80 оперних, балетних, дитячих вистав та концертних програм. Одеський оперний – один з небагатьох театрів, де вiдбуваються концерти органної музики.
