I South Carolina sono una prestigiosa corale gospel proveniente dalla Carolina del sud fondata e diretta da Michael Brown che ha preso vita sul finire degli anni ‘90.
Il primario intento è di dare spazio ai molti giovani appassionati di gospel che cercano un’occasione per esprimere il proprio talento ed anche una possibile carriera nel mondo della musica Gospel, Soul e R&B. Si estende velocemente arrivando a contare 45 membri e diventa una delle formazioni giovanili più interessanti ed acclamate di gospel contemporaneo della regione. Sotto la sapiente guida di Michael Brown inizia una intensa attività di studio e di approfondimento della cultura gospel e spirituals dalle origini ai giorni nostri. Questo lavoro porta la corale a interpretare non solo le forme moderne del gospel ma anche quelle più tradizionali conosciute e cantate dai lori avi. La particolarità di questa corale consiste nel sapere mischiare ritmi moderni a quelli tradizionali, raggiungendo un equilibrio musicale di grande spessore artistico.

Un effervescente mix tra ritmi moderni e tradizionali capace di raggiungere e toccare le corde emozionali di ciascuno. Nella loro musica si possono trovare canti tradizionali rivisitati con gusto e creatività in linea con le nuove tendenze contemporanee. 
Con loro trascorrerete due ore immersi in una gioiosa e vibrante atmosfera natalizia: it’s XMas time!

Nel dicembre 2015 una parte della corale partecipa al “Concerto Gospel Di Natale” all’Auditorium della Conciliazione di Roma, trasmesso da Canale 5 Mediaset.
A questo straordinario evento hanno partecipato e diviso il palco con grandi artisti internazionali fra cui: Anastacia, Lola Ponte, Angélique Kidjo, Hevia, Riccardo Cocciante, Gigi D’Alessio, Anna Amoroso e altri  importanti artisti italiani.

Nel 2018 il loro tour europeo oltre all’Italia, tocca la Spagna, Svizzera, Croazia, Portogallo, partecipano al grande festival internazionale “Los Grandes Del Gospel- Las Mejores Voces Espirituales Del Mundo” dove vengono acclamati nelle più prestigiose città spagnole Madrid, Barcellona, San Sebastian, Gjjon, Oviedo etc.

In Italia si esibiscono nei più importanti teatri storici italiani per chiudere il tour con il concerto di Capodanno all’Auditorium Parco della musica di Roma.

Quest’anno si ripresentano con un repertorio che varia da brani classici gospel spaziando in territori della musica soul, con meravigliosi omaggi musicali alle grandi e leggendarie voci nere afroamericane quali “Aretha Franklin, Mahalia Jackson, Herry Belafonte, Witheny Houston, Otis Redding Same & Dave…”

Un magico  viaggio musicale intriso di gioia e divertimento.

South Carolina is a prestigious gospel choir from South Carolina founded and directed by Michael Brown which came to life in the late 1990s.
The primary intent is to give space to the many young gospel enthusiasts who are looking for an opportunity to express their talent and also a possible career in the world of Gospel, Soul and R&B music. It quickly expanded to 45 members and became one of the most interesting and acclaimed contemporary gospel youth groups in the region. Under the expert guidance of Michael Brownbegins an intense activity of study and in-depth study of gospel culture and spirituals from its origins to the present day. This work leads the choir to interpret not only the modern forms of gospel but also the more traditional ones known and sung by their ancestors. The peculiarity of this choir consists in knowing how to mix modern rhythms with traditional ones, achieving a musical balance of great artistic depth.

An effervescent mix of modern and traditional rhythms capable of reaching and touching everyone's emotional chords. In their music you can find traditional songs revisited with taste and creativity in line with new contemporary trends. 
With them you will spend two hours immersed in a joyful and vibrant Christmas atmosphere: it's XMas time!

In December 2015, part of the choir participated in the "Christmas Gospel Concert" at the Auditorium della Conciliazione in Rome, broadcast by Canale 5 Mediaset.
They participated in this extraordinary event and shared the stage with great international artists including: Anastacia, Lola Ponte, Angélique Kidjo, Hevia, Riccardo Cocciante, Gigi D'Alessio, Anna Amoroso and other important Italian artists.

In 2018 their European tour, in addition to Italy, touches Spain, Switzerland, Croatia, Portugal, they participate in the great international festival "Los Grandes Del Gospel - Las Mejores Voces Espirituales Del Mundo" where they are acclaimed in the most prestigious Spanish cities Madrid, Barcelona , San Sebastian, Gjjon, Oviedo etc.

In Italy they perform in the most important historical Italian theaters to close the tour with the New Year's concert at the Auditorium Parco della Musica in Rome.

This year they return with a repertoire that varies from classic gospel songs ranging into soul music territories, with wonderful musical homages to the great and legendary African-American black voices such as "Aretha Franklin, Mahalia Jackson, Herry Belafonte, Witheny Houston, Otis Redding Same & Dave…”
