The danish lyric soprano Signe Heiberg was born in Copenhagen in 1988 and has been singing since her earliest childhood. After studying in Denmark and Germany, she began her first engagement at Theater Lüneburg in 2016. In the 2015/2016-season, Signe Heiberg sang the role as Die Rabenhexe at Theater Lüneburg in the children's opera Sterntaler and Rabenhexe by Thomas Dorsch. Since the season 2016/17 the young singer ist a permanent member of the soloist ensemble in Lüneburg, where she debuted as Desdemona in Verdi's Otello with great succes in September 2016. In 2015 Signe Heiberg also gained valuable experience in the international opera world: at the Swiss Schlossoper Haldenstein she sang Rosalinde in Johann Strauss' Die Fledermaus in a production directed by Barbara-David Brüesch under
