St. Helena island native Zabriel Rivers will make his solo debut at 7 p.m., Friday, May 26 in New York City’s Carnegie Hall. Countertenor, Zabriel Rivers, known for his wide range and “commanding stage presence” (The New York Times) has been heralded as “a rising star” (Broadway World) and is developing an international performing career. A classically trained singer, Rivers is the first-place winner of the Charleston International Music Competition.
