The mezzo-soprano Eva Maria Günschmann completed her vocal studies at the opera school of the Stuttgart University of Music after studying music as a teacher. The Italian baritone Scipio Colombo was her longtime singing teacher. Started her career in 1996 at the Landestheater Linz (Olga in "Eugen Onegin"), from 1997 to 2000 she was a member of the ensemble at the Stadttheater Pforzheim (debut as Octavian in "Der Rosenkavalier"), in 1998 she was nominated as Young Artist of the Year by the magazine "Opernwelt". From 2001 to 2010 she was a member of the music theater ensemble at the Trier City Theater.
