I was born in Brazil and my family history is the expression of what my country is: a complex mix of cultures and tastes. My direct roots are Italian, African, Portuguese and Polish. Perhaps, this explains why I feel home practically in every country I have been. Music came almost accidentely into my life, still in Curitiba, my hometown. An Art's History Professor, Cirlei Donin, and an argentinian conductor, the late Lázaro Wenger were my tutors in this exciting new world. At the beggining of my 4th-year at the University, in the class of Denise Sartori, my life suffered a radical change. Personal reasons lead me to join the Navy in Brazil and move to Rio de Janeiro to serve for 5 years in the Marine Corps. It was not easy to keep up with singing. Time was limited.
