Biography
Gabriela Flores mezzo-soprano from Xalape, who was recently part of the Los Angeles Opera Domingo – Colburn – Stein Young Artist Program in the 19-20, 20-21 and 21-22 seasons. With Los Angeles Opera she played the roles of Love in The Three Women of Jerusalem in 2022, Thisbe in La Cenerentola in 2021, Jeannette in The Anonymous Lover, Calliope and Aurora in La morte d'Orfeo in 2020. In June 2022 she was a finalist in the renowned “International Hans Gabor Belvedere Singing Competition” In October 2019, she made her debut as Carmen in Xalapa, Veracruz. The same year she graduated from the Academy of Vocal Arts in Philadelphia, where she sang the roles of Azucena in Il Trovatore, Erda in Das Rheingold, Dryad in Ariadne auf Naxos, Annina in La Traviata, Maestra delle Novizie in Suor Angel
