Biography
Jacoub Eisa was born in Frankfurt and studied singing with Kammersänger Jan-Hendrik Rootering at the Folkwang University of Arts in Essen. As an ensemble member of the Musiktheater im Revier Gelsenkirchen he sang Ceprano in "Rigoletto", Snug in Benjamin Britten's “A Midsummer Nights Dream”, Hermann in “Les Contes d'Hoffmann” and Truchsess von Waldburg in Hindemith's “Mathis der Maler”. Guest engagements have taken him to numerous German theaters, including the Hannover State Opera, the Meiningen State Theater and the Deutsche Oper am Rhein Düsseldorf. His repertoire includes roles such as Sarastro, Alidoro and Sparafucile.
